Pinbones Fish Market

Wow! We've been frequenting the fish market here ever since they opened and have always been impressed with the great selection, freshness and quality. But now they opened a restaurant inside the fish market and it is outstanding. Be prepared to share plates between friends because everything on the menu looks as fantastic as it tastes; or you'll just have to come back a few times to work your way through the menu.Update: I came back to this review to add more pictures: fresh P.E.I. oysters and blue fin tuna. I'd add more stars if I could but unfortunately 5 is the max.

Fantastic quality and selection of fresh fish! Love it, the best selection of oysters, usually has a different oyster on special each week, great way to try new ones. Friendly staff, just what we needed in Dundas**UPDATE they have moved up the street, same great seafood market, however they now have a sit down restaurant as well, serving incredible seafood lunch and dinners, really good fresh meals. Beautiful stuff, really.

Pinbones has always been the place to buy the freshest, most delicious seafood anywhere from the first day they opened!It’s where one goes to buy seafood that tastes amazing, we’ve been loyal customers from the beginning.Now they opened a new restaurant, the food is outstanding, unbelievably fresh and the portions are perfect, not to mention the amazing service with the friendliest staff!It’s our new favourite spot, our goal is to try everything on the menu.

Best seafood I’ve ever had! Lobster role is on par with what you can get in Maine, cod sandwich is TO DIE FOR and the fish and chips is DELICIOUS!!!! We also had fish cakes and calamari as an appetizer which was also very great! The staff is amazing, our server was hilarious and the owner is so interactive with the customers and business, will be going back for sure!

Amazing place for fish and oysters and I love that they crack open and serve the oysters in the store.UPDATE: so glad they opened a restaurant for lunch and dinner. Best crab cakes, grilled calamari and seafood pasta I’ve had. And that says a lot because I’m not a seafood person. ❤️

This place changed our lives. Seriously. The seafood is amazing. The staff are wonderful. We went from having seafood once a week to 3-5 times a week! This is what seafood is supposed to taste like. Super helpful staff with recipe suggestions. LOVE this placeFast forward to them moving to bigger location and opening a restaurant and wowza. The food is amazing, staff wonderful. Will be making this a regular occurrence.

This place is great and definitely fills a void in the area. Everything is so fresh and high quality. We got tuna and mussels, I've never had some so large and delicate. This is absolutely my new go-to for seafood.

Very impressed with the service here. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to speak with us the entire visit. The chef's food was delicious. Happy to have found this place in our little town of Dundas

What a great seafood shop and restaurant! The menu is small but mighty! The food tasted delicious and was visually pleasing. The PEI oysters were a big hit with my family. At $3 a piece, they are very reasonably priced! As someone who usually doesn't eat fish, I was happy to see a wedge salad on the menu. It was a sizable portion, with a nice creamy, yogurt-based sauce, with a bit of a spicy paprika kick. Seaweed strands and avocado perfectly rounded it out. The owner, Diana, is super friendly and offered the restaurant goers freshly grilled oysters that had just come in. So just know that you might get to try some exciting things that aren't listed on the menu :)
